Ryan Davis, Executive Director

About Ryan: Ryan Davis is the Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Kootenai County.  He has been working with Boys & Girls Clubs in Idaho and Arizona for over 9 years.  Prior to moving to Kootenai County, Ryan was the Director of Operations with the Boys & Girls Club of Nampa, Idaho.  In 1994 his work started with the Clubs while attending Lewis Clark State College in the Social Science Department, Ryan was recruited to join the team of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lewis Clark Valley .  In addition to Club work, Ryan also spent 7 years in Boise at Capital Christian Center where he worked with high school and junior high aged youth along with running their young adult Intern college study program.  Outside the Club, Ryan enjoys the outdoors, especially competing in Triathlons and spending time with his family.  He has been married to his lovely wife Jame’ Davis (who went to a Boys & Girls Club as a kid) for over 15 years and has a daughter Emily and a son Samuel, both who are Club members.  I guess you could say Club work is not just a job, but a lifestyle for the Davis family.  Ryan is a Rotarian, currently sets on the Post Falls Chamber Board of Directors, is a member of the Majors Youth Alliance Committee and is involved in leadership at his church.

Gwynn Moe, Operations Director

About Gwynn: Hi, my name is Gwynn Moe and for the last two years I have had the privilege of being the program director of the Boys and Girls Club of Kootenai County.  My career goal has always been working with kids, teaching and leading them to be successful students and realizing their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.  After completing my Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Western Washington University and then my Masters of Education in School Counseling and Guidance at City University, I worked as a prevention specialist counselor at a local middle school for two years.  At that school I planned and implemented a lunch time and afterschool program, which both provided a safe and positive place for students to go.  During these times I would have activities that focused on physical activities, health awareness, service learning and building relationships within the community.  I now get the pleasure of working with an even larger group of local kids running educational, social recreation, arts and crafts, and physical education programs within our Kootenai County clubhouse for our now 350 club members.

When I’m not at the club I like to be outdoors hiking, playing softball & soccer, camping and riding my mountain bike.  I also love riding unicorns and the color cyan because it rhymes with my fearless leader’s name, Ryan.
